According to Dade County Sergeant Chad Payne, a Dade County woman was struck by a train around 9:45 Eastern on Thursday night. The woman was hit in the area of Highway 11 and Belk Road.
According to Payne, the woman was transported to Erlanger with multiple injuries.
The incident has been picked up by the Federal Railroad Police and is no longer being handled by the Dade County Sheriff’s Office.
