School Year Ready to Kick Off!

As July begins to wind down, teachers and staff will be returning to the schools to prepare the 2023/2024 school year. On the KWN News-Maker Segment, Dade County Schools Superintendent, Josh Ingle, shared some updates and reminders with the community. Parents are encouraged to head to the Dade County Schools website if they haven’t already in order to get their kids enrolled. Principals have done their best to schedule their school’s open House night so that no one will miss. Parents are also encouraged to check out the School Supply List on the Dade County website. Each school will have different supplies required, so be sure to check out your child’s school specifically!

Open House for the New School Year:
Davis Elementary School: 8/3 from 3:30 to 5:30 PM
Dade Elementary School: 8/3 from 3:30 to 5:30 PM
Dade Middle School: 8/3 from 5:00 to 6:30 PM
Dade County High School:
-Freshman Orientation:  7/31 from 6:00 to 7:00 PM
-Open House: 8/1 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM
