The newest Dollar General in Dade County held its grand opening ribbon cutting on Friday, April 9, and has been open since March 21. The store is located Hwy 301 North, on Sand Mountain in the Davis Community
County Executive Ted Rumley and Dollar General Store Manager Lori Robinson cut the ribbon at 10:00 am, officially marking the opening of the new store. Dade County Commissioners Robert Goff and Melissa Christiansen Bradford. Dollar General District Manager Ashley Simpson, and members of the Alliance for Dade were on hand to show their support.
Ted Rumley welcomed everyone and related the history of the site. Robert Goff, who grew up on Sand Mountain, spoke to how important it is to have a store in the community, and thanked Dollar General.
The new Dollar General is located at 35 Smith Road, just off Hwy 301, on Sand Mountain in Trenton, GA. The store is open every day from 8:00 am to 10:00 pm and has four employees. The phone number is (877)463-1553.
