Marion County Standoff Ends Peacefully

After receiving a report about a stolen ambulance in Winchester, the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office deputies were were unable to establish contact with it.

The Marion County Sheriff’s Department managed to intercept the ambulance, stopping the vehicle on an interstate overpass, Chasey Simpson Road, where a standoff began. The driver, armed with a pistol, threatened to take his own life.

Eventually, the driver, identified as Cameron Seisan, was arrested without injuries to officers and was transported to Erlanger Health in Chattanooga for necessary medical treatment.

Once he is discharged from the hospital, Seisan will be facing charges in Marion County as well as Franklin County.
