Melissa Christiansen was sworn in as the interim Dade County District 4 Commissioner Wednesday by Judge Kerri Carter. Melissa Christiansen was appointed by the Commission last Thursday night to fill the seat of her father, Alan Bradford after he passed away. She will serve till a special election can be held in November. Qualifying for the seat will be in August.
