The Alliance for Dade, the Dade County Industrial Development Authority, and Top of Georgia  are presenting “Job Ready Dade” on Saturday, September 24, 2022, from 9:00 am to Noon at Dade County High School.

The event will offer local companies and non-profit organizations the opportunity to showcase their business to a large pool of interested applicants. And it offers Dade County residents seeking employment easy access to multiple businesses who are hiring part-time and full-time.

George Williams, chair of the Alliance for Dade, said, “We’ve done the math. Considering gas prices, vehicle expense, and commute time, it costs $3.31 per hour to work outside Dade County.  So, a company in Chattanooga might pay you an extra dollar or two an hour, but you’re still better off right here in Dade.”

Attendees at Job Ready Dade will receive free breakfast food and beverages.  Valuable door prizes will be given away all morning and one lucky applicant will receive the grand prize of $500 cash!
