Georgians Paying Around $7 Less For Gas Than A Year Ago

Gas prices across the state have increased in the last week. According to AAA the average price for a gallon of regular unleaded in Georgia is $2.94 per gallon. Despite the slight up tick in gas prices, AAA says you’re still paying about $7 less at the pump to fill up today than you did a year ago. Locally gas prices in Walker, Catoosa and Dade Counties average $2.68 a gallon for regular unleaded. That remains the best gas prices in the state. A gallon of regular unleaded across the nation averages better than $3 a gallon at $3.12.
