State broadband needs are being evaluated by the Georgia Technology Authority. Walker County residents may receive calls through the residential phone survey to assess the what areas need the most assistance. Areas of focus include broadband access and adoption, devices and technical support, digital skills and literacy, and data privacy and cyber security So, if you receive a call from “Georgia Technology Authority”, the call is not spam and residents are encouraged to participate in the conversation. This survey will take place through the end of May.
