Today, the Georgia Department of Education released the 2022 CCRPI report indicatorsfor local school districts. These indicators will serve as a post-pandemic baseline rather than a comparison of past schools’ performance. Given the impact of pandemic-related data limitations on states’ accountability systems, the U.S. Department of Education approved Georgia’s one-year modifications to CCRPI. The most significant change for the 2022 CCRPI was the elimination of a Summative Rating calculation.
The indicators which have been reported for all schools include Content Mastery, Readiness, and Graduation Rates for high schools. A summary of Dade County Schools performance data and how we compare to the state of Georgia has been provided below.

For high school, the Graduation Rate is a combination of both 4-year and 5-year performance. At Dade County High School, the 4-year graduation rate reached 91.46%, its highest rate since 2018. The five-year graduation rate for 2022 was 84.81%.
Dade County Schools Superintendent, Josh Ingle stated “we are encouraged by the performance of our students after enduring the COVID-19 unknowns for two years. Our students are resilient; they learned to adapt to virtual learning, hybrid learning, and in-person learning, sometimes all within the same week. In addition, the faculty and staff have remained committed to focusing on the academic, social, and emotional needs of our students. They have been some of the best cheerleaders for our kids, and for each other. The tenacity of our students and staff really stands out considering Dade County Schools remained above the state average in the vast majority of the reported data.” Education released the 2022 CCRPI report indicatorsfor local school districts.
