General Primary Election Qualifying Begins Monday in Georgia

Throughout Georgia, general election qualifying begins Monday, March 7th at 9:00 AM; it will end on March 11th at noon.
Qualifying for the General Primary on May 24, 2022 will be held in the Dade County Board of Elections Office on 71 Case Avenue in Trenton.

The offices that will be open in Dade County are as follows: County Commissioners District 1 (Lowery) and 2 (Hartline), and School Board Member District 1 (Case) and 2 (Hartline). The qualifying fee is $120.00 for the County Commission seats; and $18.00 for the School Board seats.

The General Primary Election will be held on May 24, 2022 and (if needed) the General Primary Runoff Election will be held on June 21, 2022. The General Election is November 8, 2022.  The last day to register to vote in the May 24, 2022 Primary is April 25, 2022.
