Cory Myers of Trenton arrested on 12/20/2022

*Trafficking in Cocaine, Illegal Drugs, Marijuana, or Methamphetamine
*Possession of a Firearm or Knife During Commission or Attempt to Commit certain Felonies
*Possession and Use of Drug Related Objects
*Tampering with Evidence-Felony
*Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Substance
*Driving Without a Valid License
*Failure to Register Vehicle
Dustin Whitzell of Trenton arrested on 12/15/2022

*Trafficking in Cocaine, Illegal Drugs,Marijuana, or Methamphetamine
*Possession and Use of Drug Related Objects
*Tampering with Evidence-Felony
*Crossing of guard lines with weapons, intoxs, or drugs without consent X2

The Dade County Sheriff Department made a substantial drug-related arrest over the holiday. A number of individuals were arrested in associated with drug trafficking, possession, intent-to-distribute, and other drug-related felony charges.
Dade County Sheriff Ray Cross commented, “DCSO remains committed to getting these drugs, guns, and drug dealers off our streets. All of these arrests, were done by deputies enforcing traffic violations, which resulted in drug and firearm seizures, as well as arrests made for drug trafficking, possession with the intent to distribute drugs, and other related felonies. It remains a top priority for my deputies to continue to enforce drug laws, diligently patrol our streets, and educate the public on the dangers of drug use!”
A mixture (rock) of Fentanyl and MDMA (Ecstacy), resulting in a Fentanyl Trafficking arrest.
Nearly 32 grams of methamphetamine, resulting in a Meth Trafficking Arrest
Methamphetamine, cocaine, and codeine, along with a firearm, resulting in multiple drug charges.
Names associated with the arrests and charges have not been released. We will continue to follow with this story.
