DaKalb and Jackson Counties Deem All Roads Impassable

Effective January 15th at 10:00pm, Jackson county shared a public notice that roads are considered impassable. Members of the general public are advised that they should avoid driving when roads and bridges are considered impassable.

As of 3:00am on January 16th, DeKalb followed suit, declaring all roads and bridges in DeKalb County to be impassable. residents should avoid travel.

In both cases, only emergency vehicles should be on the roads.

In Dade County, the Health Department has pushed back their opening until 12:00pm.
