The Alliance for Dade presents the second annual DADE EXPO – Jolly Holidays! event on Saturday, November 26th, 2022, at Dade County High School from 9am to 4pm. Exhibitors who would like to participate are invited to register by November 11. Last year’s exhibitors sold handmade crafts, décor, gifts, fine art, and one-of-a-kind items. Both brick-and-mortar and home-based businesses participated in the event, as well as non-profit organizations who wanted to tell their story.
Exhibitors who register will receive a 10’ x 10’ booth space with table, tablecloth, and chairs. Cost for Alliance for Dade Investors is $30 per booth, Non-Investors $60 per booth. An additional $25 is required for electric power. Non-profit organizations who will not be selling anything can receive a free booth. Registration is open at https://alliancefordade.com/dade-expo/
In addition to the exhibits, the event will include activities for children, photos with Santa, a performance by the Davis Elementary School Choir, and lots of door prizes! Food trucks from Jefferson’s and Freaky Funnel serving lunch and snacks.
George Williams, chair of the Alliance for Dade Board, said. “The Saturday after Thanksgiving is Small Business Saturday across the country. The EXPO is being held on this day to celebrate the importance of small businesses in our community and offer them an opportunity to sell their products for the holiday season.”
