In a Facebook post, the Dade County Sheriff’s Office (DCSO) shared some tips to aid residents in reducing the odds of becoming a victim of theft over the holidays:
- Secure bags and packages in the trunk of your car
- Take your keys with you
- Park in well-lit areas
- Don’t leave valuables in your car.
