From the Dade County Sheriff’s Office –
We are aware of a few incidents circulating social media this evening involving threats against our schools. We have already contacted an Agent with Homeland Security and provided him the info, as well as we currently have deputies investigating the incidents. As of now, we have not found any evidence of a credible threat, but we are still investigating. If that changes, we will update our community ASAP.
Sheriff Cross will provide additional law enforcement presence at the Schools while this is investigated.
