After a week of atypically heavy traffic in Trenton, the media representative at the Dade County Sheriff’s Department have assured residents that they are doing everything within their power to fix the issue.
Sheriff Cross, responding to citizen complaints, contacted State Representative Mike Cameron. Cameron and Cross contacted a representative of the Georgia Department of Transportation about an immediate need for a traffic issue evaluation as soon as possible.
Since, GDOT has re-evaluated the timing of the traffic light near Dade Middle School.
Over the past two days, there has been a significant decrease in traffic issues in this area. Sheriff Cross assured the citizens that they will continue doing what is necessary to resolve the issues.
