Character Word of the Month: Citizenship

Dade Elementary School, Davis Elementary School, Dade Middle School, and Dade County High School proudly acknowledge students who have exemplified the character trait of Citizenship. These individuals have been recognized for their outstanding contributions to their school community. Congratulations to the following students who received the Citizenship Character Award:

  • Dade Elementary School: Ms. Jenna Ridge, Brooklyn Willbanks, and Adalyn Tate.
  • Davis Elementary School: Ms. Jessie Guthrie, Kensley Morris, Cordell Stone, Carter Evans, and Justice Richards.
  • Dade Middle School: Trever Gross, Ms. Christi Wilson, and Bailee Taylor.
  • Dade County High School: Lilian Baker, Lane Johnson, Cassidy Klitzke, Brenden Canfield, and Mr. Mike Beeler.

DCHS 2023 Homecoming Queen & King

The 2023 DCHS Homecoming King andd Queen have been named: Caleb Massey and Falyn Baggett. These students were chosen by their peers to represent DCHS, and we congratulate them on this honor.

ARP/ESSER Plan: Six-Month Review

As part of their commitment to transparency, the Dade County School District is inviting the public to review the ARP/ESSER plan for the 2023-2024 school year. This six-month review aims to assess whether any revisions are needed for the upcoming fiscal year. The plan will be available for public review on Monday, October 23, 2023, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM in the board room located at 52 Tradition Lane, Trenton, GA 30752. DMS & DCHS Green Power Teams in Action

The DMS and DCHS green power race teams showcased their talents in Chattanooga at Volkswagen Drive, both finishing third in their respective divisions. We applaud the efforts of each team member for their dedication and hard work.

 

Lady Wolverines Advance to Elite 8

Congratulations to the DCHS Lady Wolverines softball team for securing the super-regional championship and advancing to the elite eight. The next round of the state tournament will take place in Columbus, GA, from October 25 to 28. We wish the team the best of luck in their upcoming games.

Davis & Dade Fall Festival – November 4th

Mark your calendars for the annual PTO Fall Festivals at Davis and Dade Elementary schools. The festivities begin at 12:00 PM at Davis Elementary and 2:00 PM at Dade Elementary on Saturday, November 4th. For more information, please contact each respective school.

 

 

 

DCHS Talent Show Results Are In

The Dade County’s Got Talent performers showcased their skills at the DCHS Talent Show, featuring various talents, including original songs, instrumental pieces, and vocal performances. Congratulations to all participants, and a special shout-out to the winner, Jack Dupree, who charmed the audience with his rendition of “I’m Just Ken!” from the Barbie movie.
