Dade County High School BETA Club is a winning team! They are seeking sponsors to help them attend the National BETA Club Conference this Summer. “It’s a wonderful opportunity for our students,” says Ashley Harrison, Dade County High School Teacher. Ms. Harrison went on to share that, this past December, this BETA Club team attended the State BETA Conference. Dade County students placed Second in the Technology Competition, Fourth place in Fiber Arts, and First place in Trading Pin. They will be advancing to the National level to compete in those fields as well as create and animate, and reimagine, recreate, recycle at the National BETA Convention in Orlando, Florida over the summer.
According to Dade County High School BETA Club President, Halen Chaney, “This conference is an important part of our club’s mission to develop well-rounded leaders who are committed to making a positive impact in our community. We are seeking sponsorships from companies … to help us cover the cost of travel, lodging, meals, and conference registration fees. Our goal is to raise $5,000 to ensure that every member of our club can attend this important event. ”
As a sponsor of the BETA club conference trip, a company will have the opportunity to partner with a group of exceptional students who are committed to academic excellence and community service. The investment will help expand their knowledge, skills, and experiences as they work to make a difference in the world around us. Additionally, a company will receive exposure through the BETA Club’s social media channels, conference presentations, and possibly other promotional material.
