UPDATE: Sat 1/11/25 6:30 am – ALL ROADS are extremely slick and road conditions are worsening due to compacted snow and ice in Dade County, Georgia.
Please AVOID all non-essential travel. If you must travel please use extreme caution and do the following:
* pack an emergency supply kit in your vehicle
* drive slowly
* keep a large distance between vehicles
* keep fuel level to at least half a tank
* check road updates
* if you are driving and become stranded please call for help before leaving your vehicle and if you must leave your vehicle please make sure you are dressed appropriately for extreme winter weather.
