Dade County Continues to Show Low Unemployment Rates

The latest report from the Georgia Department of Labor as of December 2022 shows that Dade County continues to have low rates of unemployment, sitting at 2.4%. Catoosa, also at 2.4%, joins Dade in edging out neighboring counties. Walker County and Whitfield County stand at 3.2% and 3.8% respectively. Chattooga currently rests at 5.1%. Overall, the region of Northwest Georgia enjoys a 2.8% unemployment rate.

In Dade, there are roughly 8,003 in the Labor force while 7,809 are employed leaving only 194 unemployed according to the Department of Labor. Many businesses have help wanted signs, so anyone looking should be in a good place to find work!
