CHI Memorial Hospital Georgia on Battlefield Parkway was acquired in 2017; and according to CHI Memorial, has been expanding services at that hospital and CHI Memorial Parkway.
According to CHI Memorial, Parkridge Health System in Tennessee has formally requested that the State of Georgia stop the spread of the project. CHI states that Parkridge wants Georgians to travel to Tennessee for health care, rather than be supported and cared for close to home.
Recently, Parkridge Health System has announced the building of a new ER facility at the Camp Jordan complex in East Ridge, Tennessee to service the North Georgia area.
CHI Memorial has asked that those who wish to see the project continue in North Georgia go to their website, CHIMemorialNow.org by Thursday, April 7th to share their support.
