Cloudland Canyon State Park
Celebrate World Ranger Day with an unforgettable adventure at Cloudland Canyon State Park on Friday, July 31. Join park rangers for the Bear Creek Hike beginning at 10:00 a.m., a challenging five-mile trek that leads hikers down to the ford at Bear Creek before climbing back to the rim. Known as one of the park’s most strenuous hikes, this approximately two-hour guided experience is a great way to honor the dedicated rangers who protect our natural treasures while exploring one of Georgia’s most scenic state parks. Meet at the Interpretive Center. Parking is $5.
