NWS Warns Of Severe Weather And Potential Flooding Over The Weekend

The severe weather threat Saturday night and Sunday morning will be accompanied by the potential for pockets of flooding. Northwest Georgia, where soils are saturated, will be most at risk. Overall we don't anticipate widespread flooding.

According to the National Weather Service, heavy rainfall is expected in Dade County between Tuesday and Thursday. The heaviest rainfall & greatest flood risk are expected Wednesday night. Around 3-5" is expected with a Flood Watch in effect from Tuesday night to Thursday morning.
