Dade, Davis Elementary Schools Named GaMTSS Distinguished Schools

Two Dade County schools are receiving top statewide recognition for their commitment to student success.

Davis Elementary School and Dade Elementary School have both been named GaMTSS Distinguished Schools for the 2025–2026 school year — a rare honor across the state of Georgia.

Dade Elementary is one of only three schools statewide to receive the Distinguished designation, highlighting the exceptional level of achievement within the local school system. Overall, just eight schools earned either Operational or Distinguished status out of twenty applicants.

The recognition reflects strong leadership, intentional planning, and a sustained focus on building effective systems to support students academically and behaviorally.

GaMTSS, or the Georgia Multi-Tiered System of Supports, is a statewide initiative that helps schools use data-driven strategies to improve student outcomes.

Local school leaders say the recognition is a significant accomplishment and a testament to the dedication of teachers, staff, and administrators across Dade County Schools.
