Dade County Launches Daily Safety Check-In Program Through Partnership with ConfirmOk
TRENTON, Ga. (October 20, 2025) — The Dade County Emergency Management Agency (EMA) has announced a new partnership with ConfirmOk, a service designed to provide daily safety check-ins and peace of mind for residents, caregivers, and community organizations.
The program offers scheduled check-in calls to help ensure the safety and well-being of Dade County residents—particularly seniors, individuals living alone, or those needing regular wellness checks. If a call goes unanswered, the system immediately alerts designated contacts or emergency responders so that help can be dispatched quickly if needed.
How the Program Works
Registered participants will receive an automated call from ConfirmOk using a local phone number at a time they select each day.
-
If the first call goes unanswered, two more calls will be placed at five-minute intervals.
-
If there is still no response after the third attempt, the system will notify the Dade County 911 call center, which will follow up to ensure the person’s safety.
“This partnership allows us to bring an extra layer of safety to our residents,” said Dade County Emergency Management officials. “Whether it’s for a senior living independently, a caregiver wanting peace of mind, or local responders looking to support vulnerable community members, ConfirmOk offers an easy and reliable solution.”
Residents can register themselves or a loved one for the program and receive daily wellness calls. Caregivers can also choose to receive immediate notifications in the event of a missed check-in, ensuring that assistance is never far away.
Program Benefits and Cost
The initiative strengthens Dade County’s commitment to public safety and proactive wellness by helping identify potential emergencies before they escalate. ConfirmOk supports both individuals and the broader community by providing reassurance, connection, and rapid response capabilities.
Importantly, the county’s partnership operates on a month-to-month basis, paying only per active user—ensuring fiscal responsibility while offering a valuable community service.
ConfirmOk also provides tools for local organizations and law enforcement to better support at-risk or isolated individuals, reinforcing Dade County’s dedication to the safety and care of all residents.
