Early voting starts today in Dade County for the Democratic Special Primary Run-Off Election for Georgia’s Public Service Commission. Voters can cast their ballots this week at the Elections and Registration Office inside the Dade County Administration building from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., now through Friday, July 11.
The run-off election will be held on Tuesday, July 15.
Because fewer than 1% of Dade County’s registered voters participated in the June Democratic primary, state law (O.C.G.A. § 21-2-270(3)) allows for only one polling location to be open on Election Day. That site will be:

The Public Service Commission plays a vital role in overseeing and regulating Georgia’s utilities, including electricity and natural gas. Commissioners help shape energy policy and set utility rates that affect consumers across the state.
