Atlanta, GA – June 17, 2025 — Georgia State Senator Colton Moore, who represents Northwest Georgia including Dade County, has been fined $500 following an ethics investigation by the Georgia Government Transparency and Campaign Finance Commission.
The Commission determined that Moore failed to submit required personal financial disclosures for the years 2022 and 2023, and also missed a campaign finance filing deadline in January 2025.
The violations came to light as part of a broader audit of several state lawmakers. Moore signed a consent order last week admitting to the violations.
While no additional disciplinary actions are expected, the Commission said it will continue its ongoing review process to ensure all elected officials comply with state ethics regulations.
