The DCHS Golf Team competed at Dogwood Hills this week against North Sand Mountain and Section. The Wolverines secured 2nd place in the event with a total score of 169. North Sand Mountain took 1st place with a score of 158, while Section finished in 3rd with a score of 170.
Blake Maples from North Sand Mountain was the low medalist of the match, finishing with an even par round of 36.
For the Wolverines, Mason Weathers was the top performer, shooting a 38. Lucas Weathers achieved his season-low round with a score of 43, which tied with Kooper Knight, who also scored a 43. Ethan Williams finished with a 45, Carter Ryan shot a 52, Ty Carter recorded a 54, and Eli Ryan completed the round with a score of 59.
In the ladies’ division, Harper Van Dusen represented Dade County admirably against competitors from Section, Ider, and North Sand Mountain.
