Dade County Commission Chairman Don Townsend along with recently elected Commissioner General Bob Woods and newly appointed Commissioner Dr. William Pullen were all sworn into office Monday afternoon in Trenton.
Woods succeeds longtime Commissioner Robert Goff; Pullen selected to fulfill the remaining term of late District 1 Commissioner Lamar Lowery.
Townsend previously served as County Clerk and Chief Finance Officer, following the departure of Ted Rumley, who declined against a re-election bid. All other reelected officials were also sworn in as well watch the ceremony below
