3rd ANNUAL DCHS CAREER FAIR A SUCCESS
Over 40 businesses were on-site and available to speak with the sophomores, juniors, and seniors. Dade County Schools extends a special thanks to ALL the businesses that participated in the career fair, along with several sponsors, including Georgia Power, The Top of Georgia, Tritex, and Alliance For Dade. It was an excellent event for our students!
DADE GAMES 2024 AT NEW SALEM
On Friday, Dade County Schools held the annual Dade Games at the New Salem Community Center for our students! The students were led up Lookout Mountain by Dade County emergency personnel and a host of spectators were there to cheer on our student-athletes. It was a beautiful day to celebrate and honor the participants!
DCHS CHORUS CONCERT THIS THURSDAY
You are invited to the DCHS Spring Chorus Concert this Thursday, May 2, at 7:00 PM in the DCHS auditorium! The students have worked hard this semester, preparing some challenging pieces to share with our community. Music from their performances at Queens College and Carnegie Hall will be presented, in addition to several small ensemble pieces and a duet by Senior Jack Dupree with Rock Chaney, fulfilling Jack’s senior capstone project.
DMS CHORUS CONCERT THIS FRIDAY
You are also invited to the DMS Spring Chorus Concert this Friday, May 3, at 5:00 PM in the DCHS auditorium! Our middle school singers have been working hard this semester, and Mrs. Haston cannot wait for you to hear them! Music from around the world, in addition to traditional choral anthems and music from the Beatles and The Mamas And The Papas will be performed!
DAVIS PAINT NIGHT WITH PARENTS

DES CELEBRATES MONTHLY READING CHALLENGE
Dade Elementary School recently celebrated with the March Reading Challenge students. Collectively, 82 students accepted the challenge and read over 900 books!
SUMMER STEM CAMP AT DCHS
The DCHS CTAE Department is hosting a Summer STEM Camp for rising 3rd – 6th grade students. Space is limited, so the camp is limited to the first 100 students who register. Please see the camp flyer above for information. For additional information, please email Ms. Tonya Gatlin.

The Dade County Board of Education will hold its regularly scheduled monthly meeting on Monday, May 20, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. The meeting will be held at the Dade County Board of Education building located at 52 Tradition Lane Trenton, GA. 30752.
