Several local candidates are running unopposed in the May 21 General Primary/Non-Partisan election.
Qualifying ended at noon today in Dade County and the final list of candidates for local offices is complete. Many of the candidates for local office are running unopposed, while all Commission seats up for election have multiple candidates.
Early voting for the May election will begin on April 29, 2024 and end on May 17, 2024. KWN and the Mountain Valley Independent will be hosting a debate for the candidates which will be held on April 22. More information about the debate will be shared later.
