Over $45,000 in Ecstacy Pills Seized by Dade County Deputies – UPDATED

This past weekend, Dade County Deputies were hard at work getting drugs off our streets and out of our community.
A traffic stop by one of our Deputies resulted in over 1 pound of Ecstacy (MDMA) being seized, and the driver being charged with multiple charges, including drug trafficking. The seizure was estimated to be approximately 2300 ecstacy pills, which is valued at over $45,000.
Another traffic stop resulted in the seizure of several individual baggies of Methamphetamine, and the driver being charged with numerous charges, including drug distribution. The seized meth was valued at over $1,200.
