In a Special Called Meeting, the Dade County Board of Commissioners voted to adopt the fiscal year 2024 budget of $14,500,00. The budget was open for discussion during last week’s public hearing, during which several departments gave presentations regarding there budgetary needs.
The Commissioners passed this budget with three present, voting in favor. Commissioner Goff was unable to be in attendance due to recovering from surgery and Commissioner Hartline was otherwise detained.
This budget will begin on July 1st.
