Dade County Executive, Ted Rumley, appeared during the Newsmaker segment of K-WIN Morning News and explained the county is currently building two new access roads to aid citizens who often get blocked in by trains being stopped on the tracks.

A new accesss road will be built on the North End of the county at 299 and Highway 11, due to constant blockages by trains, and another road will be built on Clark Street. These roads will provide a way out for the people in those areas and for emergency vehicles to get in, in case of an emergency. The Commissioner also mentioned issues with the trains, saying longer trains will create even more blockages and hazards in the area.

Commissioner Rumley invites citizens to call or contact the government commissioners for any assistance or inquiries.
