Dade County property owners who wish to challenge their 2026 property tax assessment have less than a week remaining to file an appeal.
The deadline to submit an appeal is Monday, July 20, 2026, according to the Dade County Tax Assessor’s Office.
Property assessment notices for 2026 were mailed to property owners on June 3. Officials encourage residents to carefully review their assessment notices and determine whether they believe their property’s assessed value is accurate.
Homeowners and property owners who have questions about their assessment or believe their property’s value should be reconsidered are encouraged to contact the Tax Assessor’s Office before the deadline rather than waiting until the last minute.
Additional information about property assessments is available online at qpublic.net/ga/dade, and residents can also contact the Dade County Tax Assessor’s Office at (706) 657-6341 for assistance.
Officials remind property owners that any appeals must be submitted by the close of business on Monday, July 20, to be considered for the 2026 assessment year.
