The Atlanta Braves are back on the road Monday night as they open a three-game series against the Minnesota Twins at Target Field in Minneapolis.

Atlanta enters the series opener with a 74-50 overall record and a 32-27 mark away from home. The Braves are coming off a 5-3 victory over the Arizona Diamondbacks on Sunday, with Matt Olson hitting his 36th home run of the season in the win.

The Braves will send left-hander Martín Pérez to the mound Monday. Pérez enters the game with an 8-6 record and a 2.96 ERA and has been particularly sharp lately, carrying a streak of 18 consecutive scoreless innings into the series opener.

Minnesota will counter with right-hander Bailey Ober, who enters the night at 7-4 with a 4.64 ERA. The Twins come into the series at 60-65 overall and 32-31 at home after being swept by Philadelphia over the weekend.

Monday marks the beginning of a busy road stretch for Atlanta, making a strong start in Minnesota important as the Braves look to build momentum heading deeper into the final weeks of the regular season.

First pitch between the Braves and Twins is scheduled for 7:40 p.m. Monday.
