Alice Cooper Taps Rob Zombie & Sammy Hagar For ‘Christmas Pudding’ Benefit

Alice Cooper has enlisted the help of good friends Rob Zombie and Sammy Hagar for the 20th annual benefit concert — Alice Cooper's Christmas Pudding. The show is set for on December 3rd at Phoenix' Celebrity Theatre, with Gin Blossoms, Romantics frontman Wally Palmar, Sixwire, and comedian Jim Brewer also set to perform.

Blabbermouth reported, "Proceeds from Alice Cooper's 20th annual Christmas Pudding fundraiser directly benefit the free music, dance, arts, and vocational programs for teens 12-20 at Alice Cooper's Solid Rock Teen Centers."

Cooper said in a statement, "We are excited to be celebrating our 20th year with a stellar lineup of talent who dedicate their time and passion to help us raise funds for our Rock Teen Centers. We are grateful to everyone who continues to make this one of the finest shows in the Valley and promise another memorable evening of music and mayhem!" For ticket information, log on to:

No too long ago, Alice Cooper told us that he likes to keep the event loose for the musicians: ["Y'know, I try to keep the Christmas Pudding to be like a party. When we get to rehearsal, I just go, 'Whaddya you guys wanna play?' I never sit down and say, 'We want you to play 'Come Sail Away' and blah-blah-blah.' And then they say, 'Well, let's play blah-blah-blah,' and I go, 'OK!' And then I go to the Tubes and go, 'Whaddya you guys wanna play?' And then I go to my band and say 'Whadda we want to play?'"] SOUNDCUE (:18 OC: . . . want to play)
