Sylvia Laverne Giles, 79, of Flat Rock, AL, went home to be with her Lord on Saturday, November 2, 2024.
Sylvia was retired from Sather’s Inc. of Chattanooga following 25 + years of service and was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her ex-husband, Harve Giles, parents, Orban & Evelyn Dotson, siblings, Barbara Pankey, Sidney Dotson, Shelia Lambert, & William “Billy Ray” Dotson.
Survivors include her loving children, Benny (Denise) Giles of Flat Rock, AL & Paula (Eric) Brown of Ider, AL; grandchildren, Heather (Tyler) Taylor, Hayle (Clay) Townley, Mayce (Jared) Gilbert, & Luke Brown; James (Linda) Dotson, Wanda Farmer; great-grandchildren, Channing Taylor & Charlotte Townley; several nieces & nephews.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 6th at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Bro. James Dotson & Bro. Ronnie Dotson officiating. Interment will follow in Payne’s Gap Cemetery.
