Elizabeth Turner Russell, age 38, of Trenton, GA, passed away after a brief illness on November 10, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love and dedication.
Born on December 28, 1985, Elizabeth was the cherished daughter of Charlotte McGee and the late Bruce Turner Sr. For many years, she devoted her compassionate spirit to her role as a home health nurse at Thrive on Lookout Mountain, where she touched the lives of many. Family was always Elizabeth’s cornerstone, and she held her nieces and nephews close to her heart, affectionately calling them her "babies." Elizabeth had a passion for cooking and was known for being an exceptional Rook partner. She was also a devoted fan of *The Nightmare Before Christmas* and a beloved member of Grace Place Ministry in Fort Payne, AL.
She is survived by her loving husband, Adam Russell; her mother, Charlotte McGee; her sister, Nikki Bailey; and her adored nieces and nephews, Kelley Chastain, Michael Chastain, and Juan Parkman. Additionally, she leaves behind numerous extended family members, friends, and her beloved pets Octane and Garfield.
Elizabeth was preceded in death by her father, Bruce Turner Sr.; her brother, Bruce Turner Jr.; and her bonus mother, Lynn Patterson.
A Celebration of Elizabeth's Life will take place on Friday, November 15th, at 4:00 PM in the Trenton Chapel of Moore Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Friday from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
Her spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
