David Edwin Hamlin, age 70, passed away at his home in Trenton, Georgia, on November 21, 2024, after a courageous battle with lung cancer.

David was born on March 2, 1954, in Green Cove Springs, Florida, to Lillian Inez Noble and John Edwin Hamlin. He had a long and fulfilling career, dedicating many years to the agricultural sector followed by a successful tenure in retail sales. He attended Edgewood Baptist Church in Trenton, GA.
David is survived by his devoted wife of 31 years, Byrnina Mary Roberts; his daughter, Marsha Hamlin; as well as five siblings: Johnna Jean Mathews of Lake Butler, Florida; Sharon Lee Fowler of Killen, Alabama; and Diana Walz, Michael Eugene Hamlin, and Richard Keith Hamlin, all residing in Leesburg, Florida.
Although David faced the loss of his parents at a young age, these experiences shaped his resilient spirit and deep understanding of family bonds. He was preceded in death by his beloved sister, Janice Lora Riddle, who passed away earlier this year.
David's spirit will be remembered fondly by all who knew him. He leaves behind a legacy of love, determination, and strength that continues to inspire his family and friends. As we honor his memory, we celebrate a life well-lived and the positive impact he made on those around him.
