Betty Lou Sloan, 97, of Rome, GA, passed away on Monday, November 19, 2024 in a local health care facility.
She was the owner and operator of Betty Lou’s Beauty Shop in Rome for many years and was preceded in death by her husband, Horace D. Sloan, son, Lamar Sloan, daughter, Gail LaPann, son, Ronnie Sloan, and five brothers.
Survivors include her grandchildren, Jenna Reeder, Summer Hanchey, Krissy Henley, & Brooke Sloan; eleven great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, several nieces & nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, November 26th at 2:00 p.m. at Oaknoll Memorial Gardens, 2549 Shorter Avenue, Rome, GA. Online condolences may be shared at ryanfuneralhome.net.
