The City of Trenton and the City Planning Commission met Tuesday night for a joint workshop to discuss the regulation of distilled liquor sales; regarding ordinances that past in the November election.
Members of the public, many of whom were potential liquor store owners were able to give their input during the session.
The meeting lasted two hours, without much moving forward on paper. The Planning Commission and the City Commission, along with attending public agreed that, though nothing was finalized, they were moving in the right direction.
The city will hold an identical workshop to move further toward establishing an application process on March 15.
