With Delta Variant on the Rise, Sheriff’s Department Limits Visits to Appointment-Only

As the Delta variant of COVID-19 continues to rise within the region, the Dade County Sheriff’s Department has decided to close their lobby due to safety concerns. The following is a notice from their Facebook page:

The Lobby of the Sheriff’s Office will be closing with limited and scheduled access only. At this time, we believe these preventative measures will better help to protect our Staff and Incarcerated parties.
