The Dade County Sheriff’s office welcomed two new deputies on Thursday, posting the following on their social media:

“We welcome two new deputies to our ranks within the Sheriff’s Office as they’ve completed their 11 weeks of certification. We are proud to introduce Deputy Nathaniel Espy and Deputy Calib Gordy to the Dade County Community.

Deputy Calib Gordy received the Top Academic Award out of 27 cadets. Deputy Nathaniel Espy was second in Academics among the class. We are excited, proud, and ready to work the next 9 weeks in Field Training. Soon they will be the new faces in your community!

Congratulations!!!!”
