The Dade County Wolverines hope to make a run for a region championship in basketball tonight; as the Varsity Wolverines take on Fannin County at 5:30pm and the Lady Wolverines face the Model Blue Devils at 7pm.
The Fannin Rebels are 5-7 in region play, and so far untested in this Region 7-AA tournament. The Wolverines are currently 7-5 in region play. The two faced each other as recently as last week, where the Wolverines were victorious in a score of 67-51.
The Lady Blue Devils are fresh off their 41-15 routing of the Coosa Eagles yesterday, and are sitting at 4-8 in region. The Lady Wolverines will take their 7-5 record and the confidence of a 42-31 win during their last meeting with the Blue Devils into tonight’s game.
