Qualifying is Over for the Special Election: Dade County District 4 Commissioner

Has qualified.

 

 

Following the passing of the Honorable Allan Bradford in March; the Dade County Board of Elections and Registration called a special election to fill the remainder of the unexpired term of District 4 on the Dade County Board of Commissioners. The special election will be held on November 2, 2021. All polling precincts will be open on that date.

Qualifying for the special election is being held in the Dade County Administrative Building, Board of Elections Office. Qualifying began at 8:30 a.m. on September 27, 2021, and ending at noon on September 29, 2021.

The qualifying fee shall be $120.00. To qualify for the position, you must live in District 4 (Lookout Mountain and the majority of the Piney community) All persons who are not registered to vote and who desire to register to vote in the special election may register to vote through the close of business on October 4, 2021. Early voting will be held October 12, 2021, through October 29, 2021. Polls will be open from 7:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Election Day. Should a runoff election be required, such runoff will be held on November 30, 2021.

As of 4:30; 9/28 Bella Donna of Lookout Mountain and incumbent Melissa Bradford have qualified.
