Dade Elementary School is buzzing with excitement as several students were recently awarded ‘STAR’ Buck Rewards, signifying their outstanding achievements. These students not only received a coveted Jr. Frosty from Wendy’s but also walked away with a “Boo Book” containing five coupons for free Jr. Frosty treats. These rewards are a testament to the dedication and hard work of these young scholars, and the happiness on their faces is truly heartwarming. Davis Students Enjoy ‘Lunch With A Cop

Every Thursday, School Resource Officer, Charlie Carver joins the students in the Bee-Good Café at Davis Elementary for ‘Lunch With A Cop.’ This initiative is a fantastic opportunity for students to interact with law enforcement in a friendly and supportive environment.

DMS Now Accepting REACH Applications

Dade Middle School is excited to announce that the application window for the REACH Scholarship is now open for 8th-grade students. Prospective applicants can obtain the necessary forms from the school’s front office. The deadline to apply is September 29, 2023. The REACH Scholarship is a remarkable opportunity, and two deserving DMS 8th graders will be chosen as recipients. DES Opens School Spirit Store
Dade Elementary School students have recently inaugurated a school spirit store, adding a dash of enthusiasm to their learning environment. The proceeds generated from the spirit store will directly benefit Dade Elementary School, contributing to various educational endeavors. GaDOE to Launch Tutoring Program

The Georgia Department of Education has rolled out a new tutoring program for students in grades K-12 during the 2023-2024 school year. This initiative is part of a broader strategy to address any lost learning opportunities. Parents and guardians are encouraged to read more about this program by clicking HERE.

No School on October 9th-11th: Early Release & Parent/Teacher Conferences

Mark your calendars! There will be no school from October 9th to 11th. On October 12, 2023, Dade County Schools will host Parent/Teacher Conference Day. Students will attend school for half the usual time, and conferences will commence immediately after dismissal. Parents can expect students to be released three hours earlier than usual. Additional information regarding this important day will be sent home soon.
