    SITUATION
    A line of thunderstorms will continue to pose a threat for a couple of tornadoes and scattered to numerous damaging winds up to 60-70 mph as it moves quickly eastward early this morning.The tornado watch area is approximately along and 40 statute miles east and west of a line from 15 miles north northwest of Chattanooga TN to 55 miles south southwest of Macon GA.     PRECAUTIONS

Ider Man Fatally Struck in Pedestrian Accident

Preparations are underway for the funeral of 44-year-old Randy “Opie” Taylor, who tragically lost his life in a pedestrian-related traffic accident this past Wednesday. The ceremony is scheduled for this Sunday afternoon in Trenton.

According to authorities, Taylor was struck by a 2011 Mini Cooper driven by an unidentified 18-year-old around 3:40 PM on Alabama Highway 75, just two miles north of Ider. Despite efforts to save him, Taylor succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

In remembrance of Taylor, a service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday at the Moore Funeral Home in Trenton, followed by his interment at Trenton Baptist Cemetery. The community is invited to pay their respects and support Taylor’s grieving loved ones during this difficult time.
