Dade voters will be asked to start voting this week for a E-SPLOST
Dade County voters will be asked to go back to the poles starting Monday to pass a resolution calling for the continuation of the E-SPLOST in Dade County. If approved by the voters it would be a continuation of a 1 cent sales tax that would raise up to 16 million dollars over the next 6 years for the purpose of capital improvements.
Three weeks of Advance voting starts Monday Feb 22 and will run M-T 8AM-5PM Friday 8AM-2PM with no Saturday voting till March 12th . The school board also intends within this vote to bond up to 10 million in advance of the collection.
