Monday April 22nd, DiscoverDade.com along with News Radio 1420AM KWN, and 101.3 The Wolf will host the Dade County Primary Debate sponsored by the Dade County Republican Party at the Dade County Library in Trenton. The debate will be carried live on the KWN News Now Facebook page starting at 6:30pm.
In order to prepare for the upcoming debate, DiscoverDade.com, KWN, and 101.3 The Wolf is currently requesting public input regarding the questions for the candidates.
We have set up a special email for those who would like to send a question for the candidates. Questions will be accepted from now until tomorrow, April 19th, at 5:00pm. Multiple questions concerning the same topic may be condensed into one in order to avoid repetition. Send all questions to [email protected].
The debate will be moderated by Chris Goforth. Chris has hosted numerous debates for Dade County for the past several elections. He will be asking each candidate the same questions along with a specific time limit for them to respond. All candidates will be notified through email from the Dade County Republican Party of information regarding the upcoming debate. Candidates from all parties with opposition, including non-partisan offices will be afforded the opportunity to debate. Advanced voting for the upcoming May Primary will begin April 29th and continue until May 17th. The last day to register to vote will be April 22nd. Election day will be on May 21st.
